Moms kid in the kidding stall, and when the kids get bigger they usually transition to the back stall. Adeline and Cherry Blossom were born just a couple of days apart so the two cohorts were put together in the back stall. One day dad found that the front stall door was open and the goats were all mixed up. He thought he had forgotten to latch the door, but the next day the door was open again. He knew something was up so he put a double end snap on the latch to slow down whoever it was. He started watching the back stall camera. Cherry Blossom spent a lot of time laying at the door. Was it her? But then he saw Adeline standing and trying to work the latch for 10 minutes. It is always the quiet one you have to watch.
Now three years later Adeline was an instant excellent mom after her first kid was born. She keeps her kids tucked away in the corner of the stall with herself between them and the stall door. Nigerian Dwarf goat color genetics is funny. The boy is gold and you have to go all the way back to his great grandma for a gold.
